In 1995 six schools specializing in real estate education started working together and Inner Circle Education (ICE) was born. These real estate schools shared business ideas, course material and real estate education strategies. So successful was the synergy that in 1998 a decision was made to expand participation to a broader base and a select few real estate education companies were invited to join.
In 2001, ICE changed its name to RealtyU® and it was decided to formally expand the network. By 2002 the educational network had grown to over 27 schools, serving some 30 states and offering real estate education to over 80,000 real estate agents annually.
In 2002, after consulting for RealtyU® for more than a year, Stefan Swanepoel acquired a controlling interest in the network. The following few years saw RealtyU® receive a trademark for its brand, acquire iSucceed, Inc. and by 2005 the educational network had expanded to its 200th location, serving 42 states and offering an extensive suite of education services to over 300,000 real estate agents per year.
Today the RealtyU® network of real estate schools is part of the part of The
RealtyU® Group, the undisputed leader in real estate education in the nation.
